Meaning of Poetry

        Poetry is something most of us like to read because of either what it's trying to say, in other words what the poem means. The message its getting across, when you read a poem your trying to know what the writer was thinking and/or feeling while writing the poem.

Main Topic

       As our main topic we chose to write about forgotten poems, meaning poems that people don't read any more but were once greatly admired. Writers that were once famous, but are now forgotten. Poems are written for a  purpose, for a meaning,for many different things. Each and every one of them has something to say, when they were written they had a feeling that will never leave, every time the poem is read that feeling and meaning will be showed. But over time many once great poems are forgotten and soon vanish with time and memories.     
      This website includes definitions of poetry terms, i.e. Lyric Poem, Narrative Poems, Alliteration, etc. We also included every groups website link which you can link to on Class Links. Each and every one of our pages includes a testimony poem, an original poem (each group member wrote their own), and an analysis of two original poems written by someone else and are related to our topic.
